Bonaveri Sartorial Male Mannequins | Bespoke Fabric · Ec Studio Bespoke Props | Custom designed for Menswear department

Blue Studio Trading supplied Bonaveri Sartorial male mannequins in a bespoke fabric alongside a range of bespoke Ec Studio props designed specifically for Harrods' new Menswear Superbrands department. The space, designed by David Collins Studio, represents the biggest transformation of Harrods menswear in 80 years — a 55,000 sq ft Superbrands floor featuring the world's finest luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent and Prada. Our mannequins and bespoke display props were selected to complement the interior's blend of British and Italian marble, bespoke furniture, and meticulous lighting — creating a gallery-like retail environment that balances archival warmth with contemporary luxury.

In 2018, David Collins Studio undertook the most ambitious transformation of Harrods menswear in 80 years — reimagining the store's entire second floor and dedicating 155,000 sq ft to menswear and sport. At the heart of this vision sits the Superbrands space: a 55,000 sq ft destination housing the world's most celebrated luxury menswear labels, conceived as a gallery-like environment where architecture, product, and display exist in quiet, considered dialogue.

Blue Studio Trading was appointed to supply the visual merchandising elements that would bring this extraordinary space to life. We provided Bonaveri's Sartorial male mannequins finished in a bespoke fabric — selected for their refined, tailored silhouette and their ability to hold the gravitas of the interior without competing with it. Alongside the mannequins, we supplied a range of bespoke Ec Studio props, each piece designed specifically for the new Menswear department and crafted to complement the precision and restraint of David Collins Studio's architectural vision.

The interior draws on archival inspiration rooted in Harrods' own history, reinterpreted through a lens of contemporary luxury. The material palette is exceptional in its ambition: 2,060 square metres of British and Italian marble, laid across floors and fixtures in 16,400 individual tiles. Two hundred bespoke furniture pieces furnish the space, while a palette of red, blue and black marks designated intersections throughout the floor. Meticulous lighting design ensures that every surface — and every garment — is seen at its finest. Luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent and Prada are housed within the space, each given an environment worthy of their standing.

Opulent but timeless interior dreamt up by London-based practice David Collins Studio.

The result is a destination that feels genuinely timeless — a space where the boundaries between retail and gallery dissolve. The mannequins and bespoke props supplied by Blue Studio Trading play an integral role in the visual merchandising strategy, contributing to the immersive, considered atmosphere that has made Harrods Menswear Superbrands one of the most celebrated retail interiors in the world. It is a project that exemplifies what is possible when architecture, craft, and curation are held to the very highest standard.
